It's All In The Details

The most important part of planning a wedding is the details. The details are what makes your special day one-of-a-kind!

The first detail that should not be overlooked is your invitations. Invitations are the first thing your guests see notifying them of your special occasion. They help to give guests an idea of what to expect and the type of theme that is being used.

There are endless ways to use details for your wedding to bring out your personality. Check out some of our Christmas themed detail shots at The Carmichael House!

7 tips to make your wedding day run smooth!

  1. Break in your shoes before the big day!
  2. Don't plan to do too much the week of your wedding. Make sure all your DIY decorations are finished before the week leading up to your big day.
  3. Eat a healthy breakfast and take a small snack, such as almonds, to munch on before it's time to get dressed
  4. Take time to yourselves after the ceremony. At The Carmichael House we offer the option to eat your meal as just bride and groom in a separate area than the rest of your wedding guests!
  5. Hug your parents! They are the reason you are there and mom has probably been helping you plan from day one!
  6. Leave your phone out of sight. You've been waiting for this day for a long time, don't let your phone distract you!
  7. Hire a great team!
